FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Hill Laboratories (Dallas, TX) is pleased to announce the development of the world's first full-blooded Elizabethan. While heterozygous congenital Bethans have been developed before (see Olsen Inc, Tarbutton Ltd, and Electric Baby Enterprises), Hill Labs believes that their as-yet-unnamed offering will provide a premium of wooliness, silliness, and madrigality.
The release date is scheduled for late September 2007. Hill Laboratories is not affiliated with the recent effort to develop a human-sheep hybrid, though lead physicist Scott Hill admits that the timing is fortuitous.

Date: 2007-04-03 05:34 pm (UTC)Of course, the timing is curious: for my tribe, now's the moment in our liturgical year at which sheep were caused to bleed atop doorposts so the angel of death would pass us by.
And then there all the related nods and derivations to this tradition (the lost sheep parable, etc.); I've gotten to play some nice agnus dei settings this season.
