Compositions online

I'm thinking about setting up a website to house my various compositions, in the off chance that someone might be interested in performing them. I think I will use a Creative Commons noncommercial license, and request that I be notified of any public performances, and sent a recording if one is made. (I don't know if I can/should make that a requirement, or simply a request.)

Any advice or thoughts (on the whole scheme)?
